Society shouldn’t criticize or be mean to people that are attracted to their same sex. We are no one to judge them; we do not have the right to say if it is right or wrong. Yet, after seeing this video it crossed my mind how it contradicts what I have learned in my religion. This video is letting society know that being attracted to the same sex it is right and they should be free to show it. Instead, the church says that it is ok for a person to be gay or lesbian but it is not right when it comes to the point where they start to be active about it. I agree with the video 100% that no one should bully people about their sex life and it is true. We should all accept everyone just by the way they are, the only thing that I didn’t agree with in the video was when they showed in the end how they were walking together holding hands. Overall, even though this issue brings a lot of conflicts and contradictions it was a good way to respond to this issue in a peaceful way; the video was very well organized.
I agree with you about “We are no one to judge them; we do not have the right to say if it is right or wrong.” I think that it end it like that because it sated like that, at the beginning of the video it show how the two boys holding hands and that is way they made fun of them and that is why it end like that the two boys holding hands.
ReplyDeleteI agree that this issue brings up alot of discussion and may have a diverse set of opinions from a lot of people.. But in the end what matters is how we strive to not judge anybody no matter how odd it might be, because we don't know what they might be going through and we have no right to discriminate the or bully them.Every one is born a special and unique way and the church might go against this a bit but if you think about it God wouldn't want them to be unhappy or for them to commit suicide because of their sexuality.. so i guess there is alot of different point of views on this issue which is exactly we try to hide our emotions when it comes to our personal gender/sex...
ReplyDeletei definitely agree with us not being the one to judge, that it's not our call to say if its right or wrong. And i do think, that people should be able to show who they love, and that we should just accept them for who they are.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you say about how they have a right to do what they want. Thats how they were created. I just think it becomes a problem when they want to get married and adopt kids. Thats, I think, becomes a whole different story.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very controversial issue. My religion has taught me that homosexuality is wrong however it also talks about tolerance and love for one another no matter the differences. I agree with the overall principle of the video which is tolerance, however I do not agree with homosexuality being okay. Just because I do not believe homosexuality is correct does not mean that I will be obscene or mean and judgmental to these individuals.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you I like how you go straight to the point, and it is true, we are no one who judge anybody, we don't have the right to do it and will never have it.
